The main difference between the Emmi ceremony this year and all previous years was a minute of memory, during which guests and presenters remembered all the actors who passed away in 2013: James Gandolfini, Corey Monteith, Jean Stapleton, Gary David Goldberg and Jonathan Winters. The touching speech was made by actress Jane Lynch (Jane Lynch) in memory of her colleague and friend Corey Montete (Cory Monteith). Spectators of the broadcast ceremony unanimously recognized this moment as one of the most touching in the history of the Emmy Award.

It is not known whether such a minute of memory will become a tradition for the television academy award, however, undoubtedly, this part of the ceremony will be remembered by everyone as one of the most important.
