Master class on knitting washcloths made from polypropylene yarns
There are such beautiful polypropylene threads that look beautiful, bright, brilliant. They sell these threads in handicraft stores and in economic departments. They are quite soft and light. Knit from them (especially crochet) sheer pleasure. Things also turn out strong, elegant, keep their shape well, etc.I always take such yarn for the future. Suddenly there will be some idea or something urgently needed to be linked. And the stock is already there. Such yarn is quite inexpensive. It is sold in hanks or reels. Reel more profitable and more convenient. Inside it has a hole where you can reach the end of the thread and immediately, without rewinding, knit in two additions. From such yarn I knit bags, foot mats, laundry baskets. But the best of these threads are washcloths. These washcloths have many advantages:Having folded the matte blue thread in half, gathered 35 air loops and closed them with a ring. In a circle I tied 5 rows of columns without a crochet. Next I start knitting "fur" (elongated loops). I throw a thread on my thumb. I put the hook in the loop on the finger under the bottom wall, crossing the thread. I knit a column without nakida, pulling through the thread and through the elongated loop. So I knit the whole row. Long loops "fur" with such fastening hold tight and not stretched. It's okay if the stretched loops are not exactly the same length. In the next row, the thread changes to a different color. I knit two rows of posts and a row of elongated loops. It turns out that "fur" (elongated loops) will be located through two rows of columns. If desired, you can make "fur" more often: through a row of columns or in each row. But such a number of elongated loops will be enough for the hairiness of the loofah. Thus, alternating colors of yarns, I knit nine rows of "fur". I knit two rows of columns and begin to make a decrease. Having knitted two columns, I skip one column of the previous row. When the hole at the top of the product remains small,I knit a chain of 16-20 air loops. This will be a loop for hanging washcloths on the hook. I attach it with a semi-column, I knit a couple of non-crocheted columns and finish knitting. I fix the thread, tightening it tightly. I cut it off with scissors, leaving about five centimeters. I tie the crochet between the posts. On the other hand I tie a loofah with a shiny blue thread (the one used for knitting strips) to make the edge smooth and more neat. For this, two rows of single crochets are enough. You can make a loop for hanging washcloths on the underside of the product. I fix and thread the same way.Everything, a new cute washcloth is ready for use. Time for its production took less than 3 hours. So, if you suddenly need to make a new washcloth, you can do it quickly with a minimum of money.
