The cyclical development of fashion in the form of alternating seasonal trends is the very dynamics of the development of this industry, which, despite all the predictions of skeptics, has not changed for several decades. This "eternal renewal", which, as we know, does not always rely on the word "novelty", gives food for thought to fashion magazines, and ordinary people throw ideas on their own style. But this does not mean that all trends emerging on the horizon should be perceived positively: some of them not only turn out to be commonplace or terribly impractical, but also tend to bother to such an extent that they cause an irritable reaction. In English, the term overplayed would have been a great fit: tendencies like songs, when they sound out of each tent, tend to become annoying bad taste.
Summer shoes with fur
At some point, it seemed to us as if the rest of the shoes simply disappeared: Gucci loafers with fur backs were everywhere, and then, after a couple of months, fakes on them in all colors and textures.One fashion magazine joked that these slippers are absolute kitsch to which you tell others that you are so rich that you can not just wear fur, but walk on it.
Tops with lacing
When they had just appeared in stores, it seemed to everyone that it was so tempting and cool that in summer there was no need for any more clothes. But when “stamping” such tops and bodysuits became all brands without exception, the satiety came too fast - well, one thing cannot fill in all instagrams, blogs and magazines!
Caps with logos
Using the example of caps, the fashion industry has convincingly demonstrated how to make the most fashionable thing wildly fashionable and substantiate the price that has increased by 10 or even 50 times. You just need to "run" it, like a virus, into the ranks of the guests of fashion week, and everyone will immediately write that this is a fresh bright trend!
Dresses with spaghetti straps over other clothes
At first, this funny trick solved a completely everyday problem: you bought a thin dress, and it was either cold or trite to wear it on a naked body because of the transparent thin fabric. But when the trick became something of a mass insanity, I again wanted to separate these things: a nightie - into the bedroom, and a jacket - to the trousers.
Under capitalism, everything is sold and bought, and the fashion world is certainly no exception. No sooner had we finally parted ways with the prejudice on the feminist image, how this concept benefitted from selling - on T-shirts, on sports clothes and even in Botox advertising. And do not forget to also trump "trumpet"!
Street-style culture has brought such natural habits as wearing clothes to the point of absurdity. The harmless idea of throwing a coat over your shoulders from the cold or, conversely, pulling your jacket off your shoulders due to the heat in the lenses of fashion photographers has turned into an act of posturing. And when every second guest of the fashion week began to do so, it became just boring.
When the whole world goes crazy over a single fashion brand (yes, it's about Vetements), then it's not cool at all. And when this very brand in addition also makes clothes that are similar to what is stored in your attic in the country, it is not cool at all. And if the price tag of this untidy clothes is similar to that of designer evening dresses, then this is already a brazen deception under the brand of innovation in fashion.
