A great recipe for borscht dressing

Few people can remain indifferent when a saucepan with a fragrant, rich and nourishing borscht is languishing on the table. In the season of fresh vegetables, it is a pleasure to cook it, but experienced housewives know that if you want to please your home with this first course even in winter, you should stock up in advance with preparations.

Firstly, because this way you will save time spent on preparing products, secondly, save all the beneficial substances of vegetables, and thirdly, you will not need to run around the shops and markets in search of fresh cabbage, beetroot and fragrant tomatoes .

How to cook this delicious cake mix? First you need to buy products:

  • Buryak - 3 kg;
  • tomatoes - 3 kg;
  • Bulgarian pepper (preferably red) - 3 kg;
  • onions - 2 kg;
  • carrots - 2 kg;
  • bitter pepper - 3 pcs;
  • vegetable oil - 400 ml;
  • sugar - 1.5 st;
  • salt - 6 tablespoons.

Tomatoes are best peeled.To do this, they need to make a small cross-shaped incisions and scald with boiling water, then remove the peel. Make a mashed potatoes using a meat grinder or blender, put in a suitable container and boil for a quarter of an hour with the addition of salt, bay leaf and sugar.

Cut the beetle into thin cubes, finely grate the carrot, cut the peppers into strips, dice the onion. Add them to tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.

If you want the beets to retain their color, stew it in a separate frying pan, putting some citric acid or vinegar, and then combine it with the rest of the products.

After that, pour in vegetable oil and put chopped bitter pepper (do not forget to clean it from seeds). All stew another 10 minutes.

Sterilize the jars, lay them still hot mixture and roll, leaving to cool under a blanket.

Cabbage Recipe

If you want to have a practically prepared first course in cans for the winter, then you can make a “roll” from the previous recipe with cabbage (1 kg is needed) and 9% vinegar (4 tbsp).

Shredded vegetables should be put after the tomato-vegetable mixture is boiled, boil it all together for 5 minutes, pour vinegar, mix and spread on the jars.

Preparation of beets is added to the broth after the potatoes and meat are almost ready. You can also add greens to the recipes, but it is beautifully stored on its own, so you can freeze it separately.

Tasty and fragrant harvesting for the winter will save your strength, time and money, which can be spent on pleasant pastime with relatives.
